Can you deliver the same day?
Yes, when the order is placed by 12:00 noon. Our own delivery team delivers Monday through Saturday. Orders placed after noon are not guaranteed same day and may go out the next day, and Saturday orders placed after noon are delivered Monday.
Do you deliver to Munson Medical Center?
Yes. We deliver to Munson Medical Center, and also to homes, businesses, wedding venues, funeral homes and churches.
Are you a real local florist?
Yes. The Flower Station is Traverse City’s oldest flower shop, open since 1973. We have two stores, at 341 W. Front Street in Traverse City and 73 W. 4th Street in Suttons Bay, and every order is designed and delivered by our own team. Do you have a 1-800 number?

How do I order from out of town?

How does Designer’s Choice work?
You pick a dollar amount and our designers create the piece. Online, Designer’s Choice starts at $75 and goes up to $300 in $25 steps. The amount sets the number of stems, so a higher amount means a fuller arrangement. Our designers decide the flowers, and you may share input on colors or flowers.
Will the arrangement look like the photo?
Online photos show the style of an arrangement. Seasonal flowers and containers change, so the finished piece may vary slightly from the photo, and it stays at the same level of design and quality.
Can you help with sympathy flowers?
I’m sorry for your loss. We would be honored to help celebrate the person you are remembering, and we deliver to funeral homes and churches. We work with Reynolds-Jonkhoff, Martinson, Beacon, Life Story and Coval funeral homes. How much is delivery?
Delivery is free within 1 mile of either store. Fees and minimum orders beyond that depend on the store and the distance, so call us with the delivery address.
What are your hours?
Traverse City: Monday to Friday 9 to 5, Saturday 10 to 3.
Suttons Bay: Monday to Friday 10 to 5, closed Saturday.
Both stores are closed Sundays. We are typically closed on holidays and open on Valentine’s Day.
Do you do wedding flowers?
Yes. We start with a consultation, where we talk through all the details and put together a formal proposal. Call us to set up a time to meet.
